Silicon so it's easy to keep clean and body-safe. While the vibrating rotor sits outside, you can feel the vibrations inside you, and the vibration at your entrance is also pleasant. Uses AAA batteries which are easy to get and replace, and the battery does seem to last a long time. The vibration is not very loud either.
