Although initially I was disappointed at the length of it, like many situations I found as soon as I started playing with it that everything would be fine. A beautiful red colour with just enough grab for the beginner in kinbaku without inducing rope-burning terror. I like to tie mine into a little shinju and wear it out occasionally.
Nice and small and easy to take with you if you're going away. Silky smooth, no nasty eooe burn.

It's very soft and well made.

Would buy the longer version next time, needed a bit more length. Good quality product though
Turns out silk rope is pretty much normal rope.
That said, definitely functions as rope.
