This paddle has real weight to it, and you can feel the steel core straight away. It delivers a solid, no-nonsense smack and looks great doing it, but it’s definitely not gentle and can be a bit much if you’re new or playing longer. Although so far have not managed to get the imprint working. Might be a me problem )
It does look cool with my other impact paddles etc. And obviously, it will be taken out for good reasons. I think what sets this paddle apart from others I’ve tried is the steel reinforcement. That added weight changes the experience entirely, giving it that smackness and precision that lighter paddles just don’t have. There are a few others I have got from here which are 2 light.
