This was the first harness I used so I don't have much to compare it to, but I did a little research before I got it & was happy with the one I chose. The straps under the bum mean easier access if needed plus for me more comfortable than thong style. It fits low on the hips which means more pressure on the pelvic bone (in a good way). Has a flattering fit for those of us with squishier sides. Main downside for me is the material is quite stiff, which includes the straps between the legs (but does have velvet lining on the inside). But it stayed in place & I didn't need to readjust any of it when in use so it definitely did it's job!
